Position Details

We are seeking a motivated Asphalt Labourer to join a long-standing and respected company in the asphalt industry. In this role, you will contribute to the construction and maintenance of roads through tasks such as profiling, spray sealing, reinstating, and laying asphalt. This is a full-time position offering competitive remuneration and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assisting with the preparation and laying of asphalt surfaces

• Operating various machinery and performing manual tasks including shoveling, raking, spreading, sealing, and compacting asphalt

• Ensuring safe and efficient completion of assigned duties

• Maintaining a clean and organised worksite

• Adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures

Role Requirements

• Reliable, hard-working individual with a strong work ethic

• Experience as an Asphalt Labourer or Operator preferred but not essential

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team

• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour tasks

• Valid driver's license and relevant machinery tickets

• HR license is highly regarded

• Strong focus on safety and willingness to undertake ongoing training

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
