MEEDAC Community Bus Drivers Wanted

MEEDAC is a multi-faceted organisation that incorporates both our charity and commercial enterprises to deliver services to the many communities we serve across Western Australia.

We see our mission as:

  • Connect, Engage and Enhance communities in which we are involved.
  • To improve the lives of our people in regional and remote Australia.
  • To assist people in seeing beyond their circumstances.
  • To assist people in recognising and achieving their potential.
  • Deliver sustainable and relevant programs.
  • Create sustainable commercial enterprises.

The role we are seeking to fill delivers much of the basis of this mission and we are looking for a pool of individuals who want to make a difference in the most tangible way to our Geraldton Aboriginal community.

Our MEEDAC Bus Drivers are seen in Geraldton transporting citizens for all sorts of reasons.  We are proud of this service and it is one of our most visible flagship roles in Geraldton.

If you are looking for a meaningful role, and:

  • are aged 20 years old or more;
  • hold a current and valid WA driver's licence;
  • have held a driver’s licence (or an equivalent driving authorisation from another jurisdiction) for a period of 3 years;
  • have not been disqualified from holding or obtaining a PTD authorisation;
  • Can pass a Working with Children, Drug and Alcohol test

then you should give us a go and join our team.

For more information on this role contact us at humanresources@meedac.com

Your application should include a resume, current contact details, 2 referees and a short cover note telling us why you think this is the job for you.

All applications will be responded to and applications close on 23rd December 2022 by close of business.
